Nashville, TN - In November of 2001, Brian Speer and John Mathis opened the doors of the Avid Group and began a new venture in the Southern Gospel industry. This month they begin their second year of business as The Avid Group.

Company President Brian Speer comments, "We feel like we've had a great first year. Anytime you begin something in the music industry and you're still around a year later, you're doing good! John and I both agree that we're right where we want to be. Southern Gospel is something we indentify with and desire to be a part of for a long time. We want to thank the industry for their encouraging words, feedback and prayers during the past year." The Avid Group is involved in the areas of publishing, publicity, marketing, management, general record label services, etc.
