Mike, you have been in the industry for a while. Who have you sang with before?

I sang with the Lefevres when I was 16. I later went to sing with the New Hinsons and then The Perrys.

Did you and Kelly meet on the Road?

We met at a concert in Boaz, AL. I was with the Perrys at the time. I saw Kelly and said to myself, "I'm going to marry that girl". I made sure I got her phone number before we left and I called her. I would say it was definitely love at first sight.

How is it different traveling with a large family?

Uhmcan we go on to the next question. **laughing** Truthfully, it's crowded. There are 15 people traveling and it was tight on one bus. Two buses has been a real blessing to us.

You recently signed with Daywind Records. Are you working on a new project?

Yes. We are shooting for November 16th. This project will include 4 of my own original songs, 6 songs Gerald wrote, and 2 written by Savannah Foust.

You are also a noted producer. Who have you worked with in the past?

Well, of course I've worked with the Crabb Family on Crabb Collection. I've also worked with the Perry's.

In recent months, you have experienced radio success. Can you tell us which songs have had success?

Forgiven, Forgotten went to #4 on the Singing News Chart. And Thank God for the Preacher, as well as The Call, both went #1.

You are also a songwriter. Can you tell us a song you have written and maybe a little story behind it?

One that is most recent in my memory is Forgiven, Forgotten. I remember hearing Gerald talk to a crowd at one of our concerts. Hearing Gerald say "Forgiven, forgotten, forever, amen!" triggered something. I knew that would be a great song.

What advice would you give to young artists, songwriters, and producers?

Don't give up on your dreams.

What can fans expect to see from Mike Bowling in the near future?

Basically, you can expect a brand new album. Kelly and I will be doing something we've never done before during our Christmas tour. We will be trying out hand at a duet. We are excited about this. You never know what might come out of it.

Lastly, how can fans keep up with your latest news?

The best way is through our website. http://www.thecrabbfamily.com

Mike Bowling is by far one of my favorite soloists, and I am so glad that you did a feature on him. This boy can sing!! If I'm right, I don't think any SG soloist has accomplished two back to back #1 songs except for Mike. That is such an accomplishment, but he has also raised a beautiful daughter and has been a Godly example and friend to many. Most of all he has witness to many souls, which is the biggest accomplishment of all.

Mike Bowling is one of the greatest singers to come along in years to Gospel Music. It was an honor having him sing with our group. It also doesn't hurt that him and Tracy are cuzins'.

I think Mike Bowling is an awesome singer and a true example of what a Christian person should be. I have known Mike for many years and his personality has always been the same, no matter where you see him. I think a lot of people who claim to be a Christian could follow Mike's example.

I personally think that Mike Bowling is a terrific singer and also a friendly person. I had the chance to see the Crabb Family and Mike Bowling 3 times this year. I love the song The Preacher.

We remember Mike Bowling from years ago when he sang with his family, Family Tradition. What a time we had. Mike is still a blessing. We enjoy hearing him sing with The Crabb Family every chance we get.
