Have you ever found yourself standing in an uncomfortable, precarious situation and as you consider your predicament you reflect on the fact that you had been standing on a firm foundation prior to the decision you made to step in the direction that had left you feeling vulnerable, discouraged and defeated? Sure you have and so have we all, at many times in our lives. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have the perceptive ability to see or know the outcomes of our decisions, good or bad before we actually commit to the choices we make. Well we all know that if this were possible we wouldn't make the choices and mistakes we make but then,,, are they always mistakes? I have found that, in many cases, they are in fact lessons learned so that I may share with someone else who may profit from my experiences or bad judgment.
Three Bridges will soon release to radio a new song entitled, "Step Back On The Rock", that addresses this very issue. After some choices, you can't always "go back" or get a "do over." But, as a believer in Christ, you can ALWAYS step back on the rock, Christ Jesus! He is always steadfast and secure. What a song, what a message. We have been performing it live for the past three weeks and the response has been overwhelming. Standing ovation after standing ovation occur for our Lord! After four to five bars into the song, people are already on their feet. This is the first time I have ever witnessed such a powerful response to a brand new song or unheard prior to our performance at a particular venue. We can't wait for you, our fans and friends to hear it. You're going to love it, I promise.
We are closing in on the final production of our new recording and to say that we are excited would be an enormous understatement. This and the fact that God has been using our ministry in such a wonderful way has left us feeling euphoric about the blessings ahead in 2008. If we could sum up our programs in one word, it would be "anointed."
We and many others, have truly been blessed with the anointing of the Holy Spirit throughout our programs.
To those of you who haven't heard Scott's incredible testimony of God's delivering and redeeming power, let me say that I hope you do soon. My personal testimony was and is expressed in the song I wrote entitled, "You Had Your Hand On Me" and I find myself sharing this almost on a daily basis with someone. Elliott also shares one of the most incredible testimonies of faith and trust for those who may question their gifts of giving to the ministry. It is truly amazing how God has directed our lives and placed us together as a ministry team for His Glory. Of course, there are other 3B's team members helping grow this ministry beyond our wildest imagination such s our immediate families, our friends, the Curnutte family, Rick Sandidge, Roger Holmes, our personal church families and on and on and on. There are so many people stepping up to work with us that it is difficult to list them all. We thank each and every pastor and church where we have ministered. Their endorsement, trust and blessings are not taken lightly.
Be sure to check out our schedule and get week by week updates and photos on our web site, http://www.threebridges.net .
Hope to see you soon,
