* Chosen Few - "I Am The Man"
Here is a really neat redo of an old song. I first heard this song by the Rebels back in the 70s, but Chosen Few has added their own personality to this cut. It is full of energy and the track is great. This is a great drive time song.
Songs For The Journey - Volume # 10 - cut # 1
* Calvary Construction Company - "Devil Move On"
Now here’s an interesting song. Do we dare call it Southern Gospel Rap? Whatever you call it, it is a fun song. Penned by John Darin Rowsey, it has the feel of the country song about the Devil going down to Georgia. Your listeners will truly enjoy this cut. Crossroads Airplay Sampler - July 2003 - cut # 3
* Kim Hopper - "The Road Home"
Her first radio release from her new solo CD, this isn’t the usual Kim Hopper. This song has a real warm country feel, yet a nice tempo that will keep your foot a tapping. If you play the traditional SG or the more progressive sound, either way, your audience will enjoy this number. Spring Hill Southern Compilation Series - Volume # 3 / 2003 - cut # 3
* New Ground - "Hands Scarred By The Nails"
Although they have had a couple of radio releases, I think that New Ground still qualifies for my "sleeper of the week". This is a very moving slow song that will touch your listeners’ hearts. Though they are not an everyday name on radio, give your audience a treat and play this cut. DJ Man Hit Singles - Volume # VII - cut # 3
