* Old Time Gospel Hour Quartet - "On My Journey Home"

This is one that I have been waiting for. Finally the new release from the new CD by the Old Time Gospel Hour Quartet. All I can say is WOW, wuppee, yippee, yahoo. This is going to be a real hit for these guys. Get on your running shoes, because this song moves right along. The message is one of encouragement, and the listeners’ heart will certainly be uplifted after listening to this song. Daywind Radio Compilation - Volume # 44 - cut # 1

* New Ground - "Oh, What A Day"

Once again, I am using this group for my "sleeper of the week", but with a couple of more releases like this one, they will be well on their way to the recognition that they deserve. This lively number will have your audience tapping their toes, and beating their fingers on the steering wheel. The message is uplifting and full of hope as we look forward to that day we see Jesus in heaven. DJ Man Hit Singles - Volume III - cut # 3

* The Nelons - "He Rolled Back The Stone"

When you want to slow the tempo down a bit, this song written by group member Jason Clark is very worshipful and the message strong. The harmony is tight, as you would expect from any Nelons recording. Kelly sings the feature and carries the lead throughout the song, after the first verse, and her feeling comes through loud and clear. Sonrise Christian Voices - July 2002 - cut # 3

* Hoppers - Back Stage Pass

I think that this is a great innovative idea for Southern Gospel Music. You actually have an interview with the song writers of the song, expressing, with a lot of emotion, the story behind the song. These tracks are very moving, and you listeners will find the story behind the song very interesting. It also has "She Cries" on it twice, once with an intro by Kim Hopper, and then again the regular version. Bring your station into the 21st century and use this unique technique to help your listeners get more out of this great song. Spring Hill Artists Spotlight Series

* Willie Wynn - "We Are America"

Former Oak Ridge Boy Tenor, Little Willie Wynn, shows he can still sing, and on this month that we celebrate our national freedom, this song is very fitting. I think that your audience will enjoy hearing an old familiar voice, and Willie’s voice is just as warm as ever. Mark Five - Compilation # 16 - cut # 6

* Jody Brown Indian Family - "Where Is Your Faith"

Here’s my "sleeper of the week". This acoustic sounding cut is full of close harmony with some nice Progressive Southern Gospel licks and phrasing. It’s a little reminiscent of the older Martins sound. The message is full of hope and inspiration. Crossroads Radio Airplay - June 2002 - cut # 8

* Lesters - "Hand Of God"

With the harmony and excitement that only The Lesters can perform with, this cut is full of feeling. Combing the songwriting talents of both Twila McBride and Kelly K. Garner, this song has a message of hope and encouragement. This cut should be in your heavy rotation. I’m sure you will get requests for this one after you have played it a couple of times. Zion Music Group -Compilation # 28 - cut # 2
