* Chosen Few - "The Little Things"
When it comes that time of the day to slow things down a bit, pull out this track. What a thought provoking song. So many, times we think only of the great big miracles that we hope for from God. The message of this song says that we need to stop and take time for the little things that God does for us. Oh, yea, Chosen Few does a stand up job on their performance too. Your audience will love this song. Songs For The Journey - Volume Seven - cut # 1
* The Arnolds - "Heaven Is Real"
Penned by group member Vickie Arnold, this song gives us a message of hope, looking forward to Heaven. Vickie is also featured on the song and her refreshing country voice will undoubtedly get requests for more of this song. Sonrise Christian Voices - June 2002 - cut # 3
* Three Bridges - "A Much Better Way"
This is one of those songs that gets your toe tapping before you know what’s going on. The tune and the words are very sign-along-able. This song should see some chart action. The vocals and track are both very plain, nothing fancy, but you find yourself wanting more of what you just heard. Crossroads Airplay Sampler - June 2002 - cut # 2
* The Gospelmen Quartet - "When I Stand On The Banks"
These guys are my "sleeper of the week". The name is not recognizable, but when you want a new standard quartet sound, these guys are worth a try. Their harmony is really tight, and the message of the song is uplifting. Mark Five - Compilation # 16 - cut # 5

* Southern Sound - "What A Morning"
Let’s start with my "Sleeper of the week". Southern Sound is not an everyday name in Southern Gospel Music, but if they keep the quality in their songs like this one, they soon will be. Written by Lead singer Ben Harris this is a beautiful ballad with some very tight harmony. When you are wanting to slow the pace down a bit, give this song a spin, I believe that your audience will appreciate it. Zion Music Group - Compilation # 28 - cut # 7
* Karen Peck and New River - "Now That You Know"
Karen is known for singing songs about Heaven, and this is one good Heaven song. Make sure that you tell your listeners to have plenty of Kleenexes handy for this cut. The message of this song is one of comfort and it certainly does that as it causes such warm thoughts of Heaven, and those who are already there. Karen’s interpretation is wonderful. Spring Hill Southern Compilation - Volume # 2 2002 - cut # 3
* The Dosses - "It’s All About Him"
Penned by group member Dianne Doss Latham, this is a song that reminds us just who all this righteous living is about, not us, but Him. The song moves well and would be a good drive time song. Harmony is tight, and the track is not overwhelming. I think that your audience will enjoy this one. Royal Communications 2002 Volume # 301 - cut # 1
* Terry Terrell - "There’s An Easter Lily"
When you are looking for that country flavored song, you need to grab this CD out. Terry Terrell has a pure country sound that is reminiscent of George Jones, only smoother. Terry sings this song with a lot of conviction and feeling. The track falls in line with the country feel. The song is written by producer Zane King. Songs For The Journey - Volume Seven - cut # 5

* The Laymen - "Keep Going On"
Written by group member Mark Hoggard Jr, this is a Bass featured song that has a tempo that moves right along. With a message of encouragement and nice harmonies in the song, this is a great drive time song. The track is neat with some nifty harmonica moves in it. This song could easily see some chart movement. Sonrise Christian Voices - June 2002 - cut 5
* Jody Brown Indian Family - "Where Is Your Faith"
Using a very acoustical sounding track, this song asks a question to bring you back to reality. So often the little things in life confound us because we haven’t used any faith in the situation, but have only tried to work things out ourselves. The message alone in this song makes it worth playing, but the smooth family harmonies put the icing on the cake, making this a great radio song. Crossroads Airplay Sampler - June 2002 - cut # 8
* The Shepherds - "Oh Yes He Is"
Co written by group members Debra and Quint Shepherd, it is evident that their skills lie in a couple of areas, as the song is terrific as it moves right along and the message is uplifting. You can play this cut in drive time and help ease the stress of those traffic jams Not only are they fantastic song writers, but they convey the message musically very well too. They have lots of excitement in their singing. New City Promotions - Compilation Volume # 4 - cut # 1
* The Allens - "Maybe One More Day"
I selected this song for my "sleeper of the week". Here’s the remake of an old Jerry Goff song that is performed with plenty of energy and expression. Great harmony and expression make this cut very easy to listen to, which I think makes it great for radio. It’s a little short, but that should make it nice for fitting in before the news or other programming. I think you will get requests for this one after you have played it a couple of times. Songs For The Journey - Volume Seven - cut # 7
