What a great novelty, yet ministering concept. Ernie Couch and Revival have come up with a way to showcase their musical abilities in a very unique way.
With the help of one of their dear friends, and possible the last CD he ever made, Boots Randolph joins this already exciting group to play some great music. While this CD is predominately Gospel, they did through in a couple of classics, like "Londonderry Air" and of course you couldn't have Boots playing with out letting him do his big secular hit "Last Date".
You know, I can almost see myself standing on an elevator and hearing some of these great instrumentals softly playing above my head. Not to mention that as scary as elevators are, listening to "How Firm A Foundation" or "I'm Forgiven" might just make me feel a little better. Of course if you're on that elevator and you hear their delightful version of "Crying In The Chapel", "Swing Low Sweet Chariot, or even "When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder", it just might cause a sinner to repent.
This CD is unique, and it's fun, but you can also just let the memories of the words of these grand old song go through your mind as Ernie Couch and Revival put their special touches on all of these songs.
