Deon's Radio Picks
The Pfeifers – “Jumpin’ In”
Taking the Old Testament story of Ezekiel and the waters that
were ankle deep, knee deep, and swimming deep for its subject, this lively song
brings home an uplifting message with a tune that will have your listeners singing
along. Give your audience a treat and play this cut. Sonrise Christian Voices
– April 2003 – cut # 4
The Haire Family – “Behind The Veil”
When it’s time to slow the tempo down a bit, here is a lovely
song with some really nice family harmony. If you are wanting a song that will
touch more than the ears, but the hearts of your listeners, then give this one
a spin. Rick Hendrix Company – Volume # 17 20003 – cut # 5
New Life Quartet – “Oh Come Along”
Here’s my “sleeper of the week”. This fine young
group has some great harmony and this song really fits their traditional Southern
Gospel style. This toe tapper will fit well in morning or evening drive time.
Zion Music Group – Compilation # 30 – cut # 9
The Hoppers – “I’m Saved”
This song grabs you from the very first chord. This dynamic presentation
featuring Dean Hopper is full of excitement and a message that has hope written
all over it. It has a little “black gospel” feel to it, but just enough
to make it electric. This could well be a number one song. Spring Hill Southern
Compilation Series – Volume # 2 2003 – cut # 3

Gold
City - Walk The Talk
After the last CD by Gold City, I wasn’t sure if they could top it or not. I guess
I forgot what group I was talking about. Just as I should have expected, Gold
City has moved the bar a little higher with this recording.
Paid
In Full _ Everyday Is A Testimony
Ever since I first heard these guys I have been a fan. Their sound is a mix of
the old school, combined with the sounds of today and they sing with an infectious
enthusiasm that even while they sing, you can't help but smile. This is by far,
their best effort to date
