Kristen Roller is an exciting female vocalist from Fayetteville, NC. Her latest project with the Pillar Music Group is a very nice project and showcases her big voice.

She kicks the project off with the title song, “Beautiful Day”. Kristen also wrote this tune, and it kicks the project off with a bang. She has included a great CCM song, “He Will Carry You. This song really fits her vocal range.

Kristen has put a nice arrangement on the old hymn, “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms”.
It has a bluesy feel with some nice orchestration. “Refreshing Rain” is another ballad from Kristen’s pen. It is very evident in Kristen’s vocals that she is a trained singer, much in the same vain as Sandi Patti.

“Sing”, written by Geron Davis brings us back to a more Praise and Worship style has a nice beat. Kristen has written a good hand clapper in “Movin’ On”. This reminds me of something that Karen Wheaton or Janet Paschal might do.

“Potter’s Hand” is another Praise and Worship song and Kristen does a powerful rendition. Kristen has included the Jeff Steele and Marty Funderburk song, “The Gospel”. Many of you may remember this song from the Cumberland Qt. This song is another song that show off Kristen’s vocal range. “I Thank You Lord” again takes us back to that Nancy Harmon, spiritual style song. This track is hot.

Kristen closes the album out with a song from Jeff Ferguson and Kirk Henderson, “You Amaze Me”. This praise ballad closes out a very nice recording. If you enjoy good vocals with choral backgrounds, you’ll really enjoy Beautiful Day.
