From their start in 1927 to their present day, 2007 lineup, the King's Heralds have stood for quality music. Priding themselves on being the oldest continual Gospel Quartet America, they have taken the message of the Gospel across this country and around the word. Consisting of group members Don Scroggs at Tenor, Joel Borg on Lead, Russell Hospedales, singing Baritone and Jeff Pearles bringing that low down Bass part, this group takes a back seat to no one when it comes to singing close harmony. I first saw them at the SGN Fan Festival and watched as the crowd sat in amazement as they too were being introduced to this extraordinarily talented group. As you watch this DVD and listen to this CD, you too will be simply amazed at the sounds coming out of these four men.

The opening song is "All The Time Ready", and honestly I find myself singing this song as I am just walking in the store shopping. What a true message, He is all the time ready to meet our needs. "Thank You Lord For Grace" is one of those songs that you will simply have to stop and listen to. The harmony is so close that you can't do anything else but listen to this song. When you are wanting a fun little song that will brighten your day "Faith Will Take You Farther" is the tune to cue up.

The King's Heralds are know for their A Capella singing and this recording is no exception. "There Must Be A City" is more of that ever so close harmony with an old "Spiritual" flair to it. Jeff Pearles brings the group back to a traditional Southern Gospel sound when he is featured on "Walk The Walk". Jeff also lends his songwriting abilities on "Haven Called Heaven". What a song of comfort about the place we are finally going to. "Can't Wait To See" will make a great radio cut. "In This Moment" and "God Wrote A Symphony" are both very strong ballads that will grab your attention from the first note to the last. Other great songs include "I'm Prepared", "Bless Me Father", "Thank You Lord For Grace", and "Grace At It's Best".

You may not recognize the King's Heralds as a household name yet, but you will soon. In the mean time you will recognize great singing when you hear it, so run, don't walk to get a copy of "I Just Can't Wait", you won't be disappointed.

Just to let you know that the King's Heralds are performing in South Africa this weekend. They are awesome. Jerry Patton is undoubtly one of the best tenors the Kings Heralds ever had. Seeing comments from him as previously stated makes me confident that this group will go somewhere. I think they earn a place at mainstage at NQC cause a few groups are not up to their standard. Reason there is no Southern Gospel Group that can sing A Cappella and accompainent very well in both sectors . They do this with exceptional ability. Jeff brought a new dimension. Going back to the Southern Gospel Industry after so many years was the correct move

There are a lot of goods Quartet (Gold City, Kingdom Heirs, Signature Sound and many mores). The King's Heralds are in this select group and they have the best four part harmony. For me, when they sing a capella, they are the number 1 Quartet.

I have been hearing The King's Heralds since 1960. They have recorded in more than 25 languages. They are simply amazing.
