Hello Friends!

What a joy it is to be able to write for SoGospelNews.com! I appreciate all of the SoGospelNews family for their work to expand Southern Gospel Music. Let me tell you...these are great people!

Spring is finally here! The Perrys had a few extra days off in March to spend at home. We spent a lot of time cleaning up outside, mulching planting, mowing, sneezing, coughing. Well, you know. But, we are thankful for health and the time to work outside!

I hope you have picked up your copy of Hits and Hymns Volume 2. It has been a great success. Thank you!

Also, A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU, for voting "I Rest My Case" your favorite song on this website. This is a great honor to us! From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!

Please pray for our country. Our troops. Our President. Our President's team. Please pray that God will continue to bless America! THE LAND THAT I LOVE!!!!!!

I and 15, almost 16 and I just now discovered ya'lls music from my mom and mema and i absolutly fell in love with it!! Me, my mom, and my mema are also trying to start our own little gospel group...we are called "Gospel Generations 3". We sing in little place all around were we live. I especially liked the soprano part that the lady sang on the Perry's Live...her voice was so strong...i think i still have a ways to go until i sound like her(definantly). I would love to see one of the concerts!!(just don't know how to find where one would be)

Hello this is jeff i would like to know how u got started in the gospel music. My brother and i are tryong to start our own group. I am 16 and my brother is 17 and we are tring to get start our own gospel group and want to know how some other gospel people got started. So if you can please write back it would really help us thanks.
