Hello from Nashville!

I am writing from the studio this month! We are in the middle of cutting music tracks for our CD! We are so blessed to be surrounded by such gifted people. God's favor is so evident on this project.

I sit here in amazement as I watch this wonderful team of players, engineers and producers do what God has called them to do...create music! I hear the music being played through my head phones in the vocal booth, I can feel the energy and excitement coming from the players. As I sing the song from my heart, they interpret that feeling into their instrument. Here is a list of some of these amazing people!

piano, B3 organ & keyboards - Gordon Mote and Jason Webb
bass - Duncan Mullins
drums - Steve Williamson
electric guitar - Kelly Back and Bill Fulkerson
acoustic guitar - Bryan Sutton
steel and resonator guitar - Scott Sanders
fiddle - Aubrey Haynie

As executive producers, my husband & I feel like we have been "carrying this baby" for almost 2 years now. To finally hear the "sounds of labor" coming forth is quite thrilling. We felt so inadequate in our ability but we knew this is what God wanted us to do. When we checked into the hotel and spent some time in prayer before the tracking sessions, we asked God to help us by leading us in the right direction for each song. To help us convey our heart to the players After prayer, my husband opened the Bible and the page fell open to this scripture. Psalm 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Wow! What a comfort!

I am so excited about this CD. Each song is a powerful message of the Gospel put in a variety of styles. We feel there is something for just about everyone on this project. Our audience includes a wide range of listeners, and we wanted to include that on this CD. When Jesus died for the sins of the world, his hands were stretched out on that cross saying Whosoever will let him come. That meant everyone from the little old lady on the church pew to the drug addicted teenager in the crack house. It's our job to point them both to the same Jesus even if they are coming from different directions.

Next month we are back in the studio for vocals...so stay tuned!

God Bless,
Angela Fulkerson
