I hope everyone had a wonderful time at NQC. That is a time of fun and fellowship with a lot of the artists we work with from month to month.....and a time to spend with all of the Disc Jockeys we talk to every month. We enjoyed talking to everyone who came by our booth.
We had a great time at our showcase on Friday. The Lord came in and visited with us during those few hours we were gathered. It just seemed like the artists were ready for worship. I was so excited to see how the artists were all working together and how they were all focused on the same thing. They allowed God to use them and their talents to encourage, uplift and bless those who attended. We had a packed house and were very grateful for those who came to visit.
Lighthouse Hits Volume 25 will be released this month. It includes the new releases by The Primitives, The Whisnants, The Hayes Family, The Davis Family, The White Family, The Philliips Family, Tina Persinger, Gospel Foundations, The Slemp Brothers, and The Brown Brothers. It also contains the debut singles from Mike Upright, formerly of Standing Tall., and Julia North, of The Redeemed. As you know, Standing Tall disbanded back in March of this year, and Mike has decided to continue with a solo ministry. "Adam And Eve And Me" is his first single to radio! Julia North is releasing her first solo single as well. Her producer, Roger Talley , had her to sing all three parts on the song. She does a beautiful job on this classic Dee Gaskin song, "I Couldn't Make It Without Him."
Thanks to all the djs who play our artists each month. I appreciate all the airplay and the chart action!
