Yes!!! I'm with you, Justin. It's baout time some forward-thinking artists said "let's blur the lines" between SG, CCM, P & W, black gospel... let's just here some great gospel music that can get everybody excited. Groups like the Crabbs, the 'new'Imperials, and the Martins are among the groups who can do this!

Oops. I mean "about," not "baout."

This sounds like a wonderful idea if it truly introduces SOUTHERN GOSPEL to other styles and doesn't turn southern gospel artists into POP/ROCK with watered down lyrics that don't mention Jesus Christ or the plan of salvation. I just hope it doesn't blur SOUTHERN GOSPEL lines.
God Bless

I have great confidence in the Crabb Family's spiritual lives and their hearts for God. I don't think they would do anything that would not honor Him. I agree with Justin and Chris. This is exciting! I can't wait to hear the results of this new effort to bring SG together with all the other Christian music genres, instead of being so segregated. I think it's a great idea!!!

The only reason the Crabb family blurs the lines is because they do not know where the line is. SG music is where most groups start, like the martins did. and B4 you know it, they are performing in bigger audiences, but it is funny because they never seem to stick with the old time stuff, but they go to the new age CCm and P&W;music. i am 17 years old and I like most christian music, but if you are going to be Southern Gospel, if you're contemporary be contemporary, don't straddle the fence! And that is CLEARLY where the crabb family already is.
PS- I love the Crabb family, I am just stating a fact!

OH man...so many great comments with such different opinions. My pastor said opinions are like NOSES...everybody has one. haha - I agree somewhat with all the comments to an extent. Be what you are, but if you can become better or reach more people for JESUS then JUST DO IT! Souls for hire! GET EM CRABBS!! I love my southern gospel with a PUMP or as some people say with SOUL...I cant stand a dead gospel song! If you can take an old song and put some LIFE into it then HALLELUJAH!! I loves me some Crabbs and some McRaes too. And Martins and 3 for 1 and so on and so fourth. I love me some Broklyn Tab Choir too. Hey if its JESUS then I loves me some of it okay! BLUR the LINES that build walls between men and GOD and break some ole slu-foots while you at it! I love my church and TBN so what are people complaining about. If it is the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST then stop stressing and remember the WORD that said if you aint gathering then you are scattering!!!!!
