I'm looking forward to hearing them. I did not know they changed their name and if any one is interested, their website is http://www.mikelefevrequartet.com

I wish this new quartet all the success that God has for them. I've known David Staton, three of his brothers and his sister for many years. As far as I'm concerned the Staton Brothers could have sung on anybody's program. They were that good. Brother David Staton is a fine Christian gentleman with loads of God given talent. david Staton would be an assettt to any group. Looking forward to hearing this fine group. May God bless them.

This is exciting for, not only the old SGMA Fan, but also for the new and upcoming fan. I have known the Sigmon Family for years, the Lefevres go back to the 1940's. Let us support this group not only from an attendance standpoint, but also with our prayers. These are trying times to begin and maintain a group.

One minor correction to the press release...it's actually been less than 30 years since the last Lefevres group rather than "over 30." According to the information I have gathered regarding the group history, Rex Nelon changed the group name to the Rex Nelon Singers in 1977 after the last remaining LeFevre (Eva Mae) retired.
Also, I've since learned that Alf LeFevre had a LeFevres group in the early 1980s. It was with his group that Karen Peck got her start before joining the Nelons.
