The Hoskins Family - It’s Over Let-Eternity Begin
![]() Produced by Mike Bowling and Angie Hoskins Aldridge There is lots of great family harmony on this CD, which is just standard for any Hoskins Family recording. Angie puts her pen to three of the songs and is proving herself to be an excellent songwriter. The CD opens with and upbeat number in “Heaven Awaits," which should be considered for a radio cut. The next song slows the pace down a bit, but talks of heaven also. “What Heaven Sees” approaches heaven form a different angle, giving us comfort knowing that if we could see what heaven sees, we would know that God has everything under control. “Table For Thirteen” features Rick and has resemblances of a folk sound. The sound is very refreshing as it gives the story of the last supper. “It's Over” is one of those strong ballads that he Hoskins Family is known for. I love Jim Mahalick's voice, and he starts off “I See A City”. This upbeat number would be great for radio also. Jim is also featured on a tear jerker of a song in “Can You See Me Alright?” It's the story of a disabled boy always asking if his daddy could see him alright in his various activities. He relies on his dad to guide and direct him through all his life. The tears start to flow when the young man can see his own way to the other side as he crosses into heaven. I had to have a whole box of Kleenex sitting next to me for this cut. “You Keep Loving Me”, one of Angie's songs, shows that the Hoskins can carry that country sound as good as anybody. Speaking of country sounds, Angie's daughter, Abby, is featured on “One Of These Days”, and this young gal can wail that country sound. Not only is she cute, but she can really sing too. Add Ben and Sonja Isaacs to Angie on a song and you have a real bluegrass treat. which is what you get on “Eternity,” another song penned by Angie. Other songs include “It's Over”, “You've Been A Witness”, and “Trust God Anyway”. Reader Comments
I truly love this CD. It is one that you put in your car/truck Cd player and when you get home you want to take it out and play it when you get inside. My favorites on the CD is "Trust God Anyway" and "Heaven Awaits". Can't wait to hear them sing those live. But I have to say the treat on the Cd is the last song...Angie's daughter Abby is featured. She does a wonderful job!!!

What a great CD. I believe that this is the best CD that the Hoskins have had. I think they are wonderful singers and people. I pray that God will just continue to bless, and open many doors for them.

The Hoskins Family continue to put out some great music. There is a good variety on this CD. I agree with the comments about Angie's daughter. I expect we'll be hearing a lot more from Abby in the years ahead!

I got a chance to finally listen to this CD a few weeks back and I was extremely impressed. This has to be the best work the Hoskins Family has done yet. Angie is in particular a highlight of this recording.
