With a similar sound to the McKamey’s, this group has produced some good sounding original material.  “Through the Blood”, “Mercy Came Down” (title song), “and He’s Coming to Town” all written by Angie Davis have quite the country flavor, but overall good lyrics.  “He’s Still Working Miracles” written by Derek Davis, is a great encouragement.  With a bit more country flavor than the McKamey’s this group brings a few older songs to their recording such as “I Get Joy”, “I’ll Put on a Crown” and Tim Greene’s “When I Knelt”. 

Though the vocals are a bit weak, if you like a little country flavor to your Southern Gospel, you’ll appreciate this CD.
