Lamp Music’s Mike Pillow and Ricky Atkinson Form Alliance for Resting Place Music

Sylvester, GA - In conjunction with the recent announcement regarding the creation of the newly formed record company, Resting Place Music of Sylvester, GA, Ricky Atkinson is pleased to announce an agreement with Lamp Music Group of Whitesburg, GA .

The wide-ranging agreement will be multi-faceted and include Studio Recording & Production, Radio Distribution, Advertising, and Graphic layout and Design.

Ricky states, “We are glad to continue our affiliation with Mike Pillow and the staff at Lamp. The recording atmosphere is laid back and comfortable and that’s our calling card for Resting Place Music.” He continues, “Lamp has always been on the cutting edge with technology. With their newest PRO-Tools HD Accel system, I feel we will be able to meet the needs of our artists better than anywhere else.”

Lamp President, Mike Pillow also commented on the agreement, “We have had the priviledge of working with Ricky since the beginning of Ricky Atkinson and Compassion and have watched God bless them to become one of Gospel’s favorite trios. We are excited at what God is doing with Ricky’s production work and are looking forward to working with these exciting new artists!”

The recent agreement is already in force as Resting Place Music prepares for their debut material in summer 2005.

This is great news. Ricky Atkinson is a gifted songwriter, who is richly blessed with great talent to sing with him.

Mike Pillow is one of the smartest men I know. HIS gift is in front of that recording equipment. This is what makes this combination so great. Lamp Music has proved to be exactly what it is. The Premier recording studio in Southern Gospel Music.
