Produced by Steve Allen and Tony Jarman
Recorded at Square One Studios – Franklin, TN, Dark Horse – Franklin, TN – Pyramid, Look Out Mountain, GA – Reflections, Nashville, TN – and The White Room, Franklin, TN
Label – Independent

Tony Jarman goes back to more of his Poet Voices days on this new solo CD. He sings a couple of songs that he did with Poet Voices, but also does some older Gospel classics. I really like his version of Teddy Huffam’s big hit, “I’m Rich,” which is currently playing on the radio.

Adding a little variety of sound to the CD, Tony does a nice job on the old “spiritual” “Amen”. Speaking of old, he does a splendid job on “I Can’t Feel At Home In This World.” That one would be a nice radio release. This CD is just full of songs that are uplifting and will bless your heart.

One of the interesting points about this CD is the way the songs flow in their presentation. That and the fact that Tony does all his background vocals makes this a really great solo
CD.

Thanks for the review. I've enjoyed Tony since his days with Poet Voices. Great singer!

I wish Tony well - but I am still very disappointed that he left L5 at such a critical time with Roger Bennett heading to Houston earlier this year for an extended period. It may have been in the plans for a long time - but it soured me on TJ.

Before publically criticizing Tony for leaving, perhaps you should discuss the issue with Tony PRIVATELY and see why he actually left. Your comment was a cheap shot.

Sorry - I posted to the wrong item. Jarman doesn't have a website - so I am not sure what to tell you.

I kept hearing L5 sing "I FOUND GRACE" on the radio at work and one day said to myself, "Who IS that". Checked on the radio listing and found it was L5. I had never heard of them but knew it was that beautiful tenor voice that drew my attention to the song. I bought all their albums and am enjoying one now as I write this. I was disappointed too that Tony left L5 but am so glad he is recording and performing solo. I wish L5 the best of luck but they were sure nominated for a bunch of awards when Tony was with them. No one sings "Farther Along" better than him. God bless them all. Sue

Tony,
Thanks for the great cut on "My Master's Voice". I am so glad you chose to include it on the project. I am looking forward to many more projects, and hopefully contributing many more songs as tools for your ministry. May God bless your and increase your gifts for His kingdom!
