
Nashville, TN-The Scarritt Bennett Center was filled with a joyful noise as Southern Gospel's top songwriters gathered together for a special night in the round. The event was held as part of the NSAI Christian Writer's Retreat held August 14, 2004.
Gospel Music Queen, Dottie Rambo, ( writer of such classics as We Shall Behold Him and I Will Glory In The Cross) shined along with her friend, legend to be and patriarch of the Crabb Family, Gerald Crabb (writer of today's southern gospel hits Through The Fire and Trail Of Tears). Host, Jeff Pearson shared his cuts by Jeff and Sheri Easter and The Gaither Vocal Band; while Kim McClean shared her songwriting hits, including the southern gospel classic. Take Off Those Rags Lazurus, as made popular by the Nelons.
