Christlike to Perform at National Quartet Convention

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Christlike, an up and coming group based out of Oklahoma, is currently slated to perform at the Artist Spotlight Showcase at the National Quartet Convention, the week of September 13, 2004.

“We’re so excited to be performing this year at the Artist Spotlight Showcase,” said Weylin Bohannan of Christlike. “God has opened so many doors in the last couple years that it’s just been a wild journey.”

Christlike received their invitation to sing at the showcase after a National Quartet Convention scout saw Christlike perform at the 5th Annual SouthernGospelNews Convention Family Music Group & Friends Showcase on Saturday, July 31, 2004.

Chris D. Unthank, co-owner of Southern Spin said, “We’re excited for Christlike, because we know that they are on their way to the top. This is just another step for them in their career.”

The group’s current single, “Walkin’ This Road With Jesus,” is making waves at radio, seeing good early response from stations. The song is currently sitting at #13 on the SouthernGospelNews.com Weekly Chart. The song continues to be a fan favorite each week. The song is from their current album, Journey.
