OneWay Quartet Announces New Member
Group to Perform at Bellevue Baptist Church
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – OneWay Quartet regretfully announces the departure of their current lead singer, Cory Pirani. Pirani has announced his resignation from the group due to spending more time with his family at home.
Replacing Cory is David Houpt. David is 27 years old, and he has gained much experience in the Gospel music field due to being a former member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and former road manager for pop Christian group Brother’s Keeper. Houpt currently works at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN.
"We feel people will love David's heart and passion for Christ. We are very excited about what God has in store for our ministry with the addition of David, and we ask that you continue to pray daily for us," said Brian Klinger, owner of OneWay Quartet.
David Houpt will make his debut appearance with the OneWay Quartet when the group sings at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN on May 30th. OneWay Quartet, accompanied by Bellevue's full orchestra and choir, will pay tribute to the many men and women who have served to protect the freedoms America holds dear. A powerful patriotic video used in concert will be played during the song to bring the visual aspect of the sacrifices many have made for the freedoms of this country.
The group will be performing their patriotic song entitled "Who Will Stand." Written and arranged by Scott Sturtevant, the highly requested song was recorded on their new project Eternal.
"We are grateful for the opportunity to inspire others to continue the fight for freedom and to thank those who have gone before us to make this nation the greatest place on Earth to live," said Jim Ashcraft of OneWay Quartet.
The special Memorial Day event will be broadcast before a worldwide television audience on June 6th. Please check your local listings.
