Dunaways’ Cd Creating A Stir
The newest release from The Dunaways on Family Music Group’s label, Beautiful Day, is really creating a stir among Gospel music fans and DJs. It’s understandable, of course, because everything about the CD — the song selection, the production quality, the instrumentals, and the vocals — has received great reviews.
Deon Unthank of SoGospelNews.com said in his review: “I was privileged to go to a listening part for this CD and I thought at one point I was hearing somewhat of the Isaacs; then again, I thought I was hearing somewhat of the Rambos. Then I realized that this is a bright new sound of The Dunaways. You take a little bluegrass, a little country and a little Southern Gospel and shake it all together, and this fine family group comes out.” To read the entire review, log on to SoGospelNews.com.
The first single from the project, “Beautiful Day” from the pen of Lori Kelly Woods, is being added to radio playlists all over the country and making new fans for the group whenever it is heard. Quoting again from the SoGospelNews.com review: “… This song has some of the closest harmony that you will ever hear on a Gospel recording. The message of this song is just a great outlook on life.”

Love this group! I think we will be seeing a lot more of them.

This project is truly wonderful as are the people who recorded it. We LOVE the Dunaways! … Beautiful Day is just as the title says...BEAUTIFUL!

They definitely have a style akin to that of the Rambos and Isaacs. If you've never heard the Dunaways, this is an excellent introduction of their music.

I would like to comment on this wonderful family. Just to let you in on a secret they cannot only sing but they are an inspiration to the family of New Zion United Pentecostal Church, and you should hear Bro. Randall Dunaway preach!!! We love all of you. Thank you for coming to share your life and songs with us.
