HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn.-Daywind Music Group of Hendersonville, Tenn., recently announced the signing of Annie and Kelly McRae to their award -winning roster of artists.
Annie and Kelly McRae currently keep a very busy schedule on their journey to spread the love of God throughout the nation through their music ministry. However, Annie and Kelly actually began their journey years ago when they started performing in small country churches in their hometown of Waynesboro, Miss.
The oldest of five girls, Annie, at the age of five, was first to begin ministering through song. Kelly began harmonizing with her sister around the age of nine, and the Gospel duo was born. The two have recently appeared on the Gaither Homecoming Series, the Mark Lowry Tour and Gospel Music Television, among other venues and events.
The McRaes' radio history includes songs such as "Walk On The Water," "He Bore My Burden For Me," "Lord, Shake These Chains," and most recently, "I Will Overcome." Their current single, “Mountain Top For Me,” was penned by BMI Songwriter of the Year, Gerald Crabb.
The duo signed their exclusive recording agreement with Daywind Records during the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY. Daywind is home to many of Southern Gospel’s premiere artists including the Crabb Family, Greater Vision, the Perrys, Brian Free & Assurance, the Cumberland Quartet, LordSong, Gerald Crabb, Mike Bowling, the Old Time Gospel Hour Quartet, the Hoskins Family, Legacy Five, Smith White & Fairchild and newcomers, the Mark Trammell Trio.
