Christian Brothers Quartet Shines at National Quartet Convention
Group releases first two albums

image LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Christian Brothers Quartet, one of the hottest new artists to hit Southern Gospel, has recently been causing a stir in the industry. The newly founded group made their National Quartet Convention debut this week as they performed twice during the convention.

Christian Brothers Quartet received a last minute phone call and was asked to perform on the New Artist Showcase on Tuesday of this week. The group was one of the youngest to perform after only having been formed for three short months. The group was one of the show-stopping numbers of the three hour showcase and dominated the stage.

In addition to the New Artist Showcase performance, Christian Brothers Quartet also performed at the Southern Gospel Promoters Association meeting. The group received an excellent response from the crowd. Christian Brothers Quartet performed all new material from their two new albums.

“We are extremely excited about the possibilities and connections that we have made this week,” said Christian Davis, owner of Christian Brothers Quartet. “There were several thousand people at the New Artist Showcase, and we were very pleased with our performance and the acceptance from the crowd.”

Much Required is an album of familiar favorites and new material recorded by the group, and Hymns and Favorites, Volume 1 features remakes of old favorites by the group. Both albums were produced by Christian Davis and Byron Pritchard, lead singer for the group. The albums were recorded at Millwest Studios in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

“The group really worked hard to put out these great sounding albums in time for the National Quartet Convention,” said Davis. “We are extremely pleased with the recordings and are excited about the possibilities that are readily available to us now.”

Without a doubt, this quartet is the next Cathedral Quartet! Tight harmonies along with great arranging makes them stand out among all the other quartets. I expect them to be at the NQC next year performing on Saturday night!! Call your local radio station and request to hear the Christain Brothers Quartet!!

I echo what both of these folks wrote. These guys really are incredible! I can't remember the last time I've heard a group with this rich of a sound. The most exciting thing though is what devoted christian men these guys are. I met these guys when I brought them into my hometown for a concert. They had only been together for 3 months but you would have thought they had been together for 20 years as close as they seemed to be. I am so honored to now call these guys friends. If you miss these guys when they come to your town, you've cheated yourself out of a blessing. Love you guys!!

In Response to Dave asking people to call their radio staions, they don't have any music they can play! I talked to Micheal Davis (Christians father, and their manager)at Qt Convention. He said he could not give me anything for airplay because all the tracks they using on the two projects are from another group and they didn't have permission to play them on radio. Hopefully they will have something out to radio soon.

I told you so!!! This group is what we've ALL been waiting for. Four guys with a true heart for the Lord and a true love for Southern Gospel music. Wonderful harmonies, great selections and more. Their schedule is quickly filling up and can only be expected to increase. Don't be surprised when you start hearing their name everywhere!!! I'm proud to say that this singing ministry was launched at my home church and that I'm glad to call Byron, Christian, Michael and Craig my FRIENDS!!! Get the CD's...you'll LOVE THEM!!!
