Edward O. Leonard Celebrates 10 Years
HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn.—Edward O. Leonard, President of Daywind Music Group, celebrated 10 years with the company on May 17, 2003. Ed has helped direct the label’s expansion since coming on board in 1993. His involvement with the roster of artists and staff has led to Daywind being recognized as one of the 10 top Christian record companies, according to Christian Retailing magazine. Ed also serves as Vice President for New Day Christian Distributors. New Day is a one-stop distribution company serving retailers in the CBA marketplace. Ed has contributed to the tremendous growth of Christian music in the U.S. and internationally through his work with Daywind Music Group, New Day Christian Distributors, the Southern Gospel Music Guild, Southern Gospel Music Association, National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Christian Music Trade Association and Gospel Music Association. He is an alumni of Leadership Music.

Ed received a BA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame in 1987 and an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Chicago in 1992. He and his wife, Kathleen, are the parents of eight children. He is also involved in coaching soccer and basketball in the Hendersonville, TN, parks system.
