The Crabb Family’s The Walk Sits At Number One

imageHENDERSONVILLE, Tenn.—April 22, 2003 marked the release date for the Crabb Family’s debut Daywind Records release, The Walk. Jason, Kelly, Aaron, Adam and Terah spent release week making appearances at bookstores nationwide.

The Walk hit SoundScan charts today at the number one position for Southern Gospel and 32 in overall Christian sales, which includes Christian bookstores and mainstream outlets. The new project also made a mark on the Heatseekers chart at 33, which includes all genres of music. This chart will be printed in Billboard magazine later this week.

New Day Christian Distributors, Word Entertainment and WEA distribute The Walk across the nation. Congratulations are in order for the Crabb Family. The moment that I heard "The Walk" I knew that it was going to have a profound effect on lives. It is a terrific, spirit-filled project that I have totally fallen in love with!

The Crabb Family just keeps getting better. How do they do it? They allow the Lord to guide them. I met them for the first time in 1997. They are still the same; humble, down to earth folks as they were back then. I am blessed to call them friends. Love you guys!
