Thieves broke into the storage lot where MorningStar recording artist Safe Harbor’s bus was being kept overnight following routine maintenance service. They attacked the door to the coach and entered the coach where they stole all the electronic items in booth lounges. They literally ripped the items out of the walls! Insurance has estimated that the damage was in excess of $3,500.
They vandals then turned their attention to storage bays under the bus where they stole sound equipment that they could easily carry, including their brand new in ear monitor system, that was a recent gift to quartet. The stereo equipment was recovered later along with some of the smaller PA gear by local law enforcement agencies.
Dale Vicars, manager of Safe Harbor stated: “The insurance company is going to cover all of our losses in the lounges but will not cover any items stored in the bus bays! I strongly encourage all artists to review their insurance policies with their agents immediately to see what they do, and do not, cover.”
