imageMark Mathes recently signed an exclusive agreement with Daywind Music Publishing in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Mark's traditional quartet and family style Southern Gospel writing style earned him a spot on the Daywind roster. Hits like "I'm Not What I Was" and "I Believe" by Gold City, The Lester's "He Saw Me," as well as "He Called Me Out" by the Nelons and Greater Vision have become his signature in the Southern Gospel market. "Mark is one of those writers who knows the sound of southern. Quartets are always in need of great material, and Mark really steps up in that style," Brian Copeland, Daywind's Director of Publishing, stated.. Mark and his wife Leisa make their home in Boss, Missouri where he is a minister of music. Mark sings with his own group, Heartbeat.
