Daryl Williams Trio Seeks New Baritone

The Daryl Williams Trio has announced the departure of Shannon Knight. In Shannon's six years with the trio, they have been featured on Gaither Homecoming Videos and Concerts, and for the last three years on Trinity Broadcast Network's program "Unfolding Majesty". Shannon has recorded the original versions of some of Daryl's most recent popular songs, such as JOY'S GONNA COME IN THE MORNING, I GOT BLESSED, FATHER'S HOUSE and FREEDOM BAND, which the trio sang on the Gaither Video of the same title.

Shannon and his wife Pam are expecting their first child in July of this year. Shannon has excepted a full time position at First Baptist Church in Guin Alabama. He will be serving as Music and Youth Pastor.

Daryl Williams stated " It has been a great pleasure to work with Shannon. He has become a part of our family and we will miss sharing the concert stage with him, but we support him fully in his decision to pursue a church ministry".
Shannon's last official date with the trio will be May 16th in Tustin California, on the set of "UNFOLDING MAJESTY" at the TBN studios. The public is invited to attend the taping of the show.

I am such a fan of the Daryl Williams Trio, Daryl Williams' songwriting, but most of all of Shannon Knight's voice! Being a native of Guin, AL makes me a little more partial I guess.

I wish Shannon and Pam the very best in their future as parents and I know that Shannon will do great at the 1st Baptist Church. I hope that the Daryl Williams Trio continues in their great success and anointing, but I know all the fans will truly miss Shannon's awesome personality and vocal stylings!
