(Greenville, SC.)…For four years now America’s Gospel Favorites television show has aired on Gospel Music Television (GMT) as well as numerous independent and cable stations across the country. The show is hosted and produced weekly by the founder and originator, Charlie Waller. Featured groups each week are The Melody Boys Quartet, the Trav’lers and SGMA’s male quartet of the year, the Dove Brothers Quartet.

Charlie said, “requests for the show’s cast to appear in person have been increasingly strong from viewers over the past year. We worked a program in Arkansas a few months back and it was good, real good. We do the show on stage as we do it on the air: Theme song This Great Caravan Keeps on Rolling Along, and then the TV announcer introduces each group as they come out singing the theme. When we did the program in Arkansas those in attendance were overly responsive, more than any audience I have ever seen. Why? They came to see the cast of America’s Gospel Favorites - - they were our audience. We had created a demand for ourselves and we supplied that demand. There were fans that drove from California, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Ohio and Florida to be at that program”.

Due to the busy schedule of the Dove Brothers Quartet, The Melody Boys Quartet and the Trav’lers, plans are being made to take the program only to several cities for a few select dates this year.
