(Nashville, TN) On the heels of being named the most successful promoter in the history of Gospel Music, Man of the Year for 2002, Hendrix has yet another honor. Rick Hendrix was named twice during the Gospel Music Associations press conference, held at Gaylord Entertainment Center on January 14, 2003. Hendrix was nominated in the 34th annual Dove Awards, along with the Principles, for the mountain, earthy song "The Devil Can't Touch You Soul" for Bluegrass Recorded Song. Hendrix was also named in a Producer of the Year category for the album "Climbing Up The Ladder." "Prayer changes things," stated Hendrix. "Just a year and a half ago my life fell apart, today I stand in a room with many friends who are happy for me." Hendrix says he is honored his songs have a chance to be heard. "It's my way of letting the Holy spirit heal me and guide me," stated Hendrix. The winners will be announced April 10th 2003 at the Gaylord En! tertainment Center, in Nashville, TN.
