“Naaman” Voted #1 on Top 40 Fan Chart for 2 Consecutive Weeks

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Sunday Edition, one of Nashville’s favorite groups, is featured on the popular e-zine GospelMusicTimes.com this week.

The article, titled “The Most Diverse Family In Southern Gospel Music”, was written by the staff of GospelMusicTimes.com and talks about the group’s latest single “Naaman”, the family’s involvement in different aspects in the industry, Chris Unthank’s new solo CD, and much more.

Sunday Edition has seen much success at Southern Gospel radio with their latest release. The song has charted on all the major industry charts. “Naaman” currently sits at #68 on the July 2008 issue of the Singing News Magazine’s Top 80 chart – the industry’s most watched and respected chart. The song will also rise from #65 to #54 in the upcoming August 2008 issue of the Gospel Music News Top 100. In addition, the song is currently sitting at #23 on this week’s issue of the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart.

“Naaman”, which was penned by Paula Stefanovich, is the fourth single from Sunday Edition’s critically acclaimed release Absolutely Free. All four singles from the album (“He Keeps Lifting”, “Call On Jesus”, “Big God”, and “Naaman”) have charted on various industry charts. “Naaman” was pushed to radio through DJ Man Promotions, Rhonda Thompson Promotions, and most recently the Rick Hendrix Company.

Sunday Edition’s new single, “Absolutely Free”, is poised to hit radio in August. The song, written by Daryl K. Williams, will be promoted to Southern Gospel radio exclusively through the Rick Hendrix Company.

Now, 30 years later, the group has reformed as the family trio consisting of Deon Unthank, Amy Marie Unthank, and Chris Unthank.
