Mike Allen Records Solo Project

Nashville, TN - Mike Allen was recording tracks recently for his first solo project at the Three Angels Sound Center. Mike is known as one of the regular bass singers on the Gaither Homecoming videos and concerts , and has filled in for George Younce with the Old Friends Quartet on numerous occasions. He has also sung with The Blackwood Quartet, Poet Voices, and The Weatherfords. Mike's solo project is being produced by fellow artist, Allison Durham Speer, and is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Three Angels Sound Center is the new state of the art recording facility of Three Angels Broadcasting Network located in West Frankfort, IL.

Mike, so very glad to hear about this project! You are the main reason I go to Gaither concerts! Love that bass voice.

My desktop picture is actually one of me and you in Lakeland, Fl. I was also on the January cruise with you and told you in B'ham after the concert that I'd contact Bill to use you more!

I just knew I wasn't the only one who loves that voice! This is so exciting!! Congratulations Mike...and thans Allison...I can't wait for this one! Maybe a little preview during the Christmas Homecoming tour??? I've got my tickets for Columbus, OH in December.

Mike, we see you on the videos and have seen you in person in Nashville. We also have seen you at some of Allison's solo concerts and Mount Juliet in August. So glad you are doing a project. Looking forward to hearing it. May God continue to bless you and your family.

We have been waiting a long time for Mike Allen to put out a tape/cd. Can we be put on some kind of list to be notified when it will be out and to learn more about it? He really does have a fantastic voice!!!

I am a really big fan of Mike Allen and I am so excited to hear that he is finally producing a CD. Thanks Allison for doing this for Mike. Mike has a big following of fans from Gaithernet.

Mike, I'm so happy to hear that the long-awaited CD will soon be available. I'm hoping it will be available for sale at the concert on February 1st. I'll be standing in line to buy my copy. Congrats, Mike!
