Lamp Music President, Mike Pillow, Takes Turn For The Worst

Rhonda Pillow, wife of Lamp Music Group President Mike Pillow, issued the following statement today, "Dear Friends, we are in serious need of prayer. Unfortunately, Mike is back in ICU on a ventilator with organ failure. We need a miracle! We will update as soon as possible. Please remember us in your prayers."

"Mike is in a regular room and currently breathing on his own.PTL! This is 2 prayers that have been answered. It's overwhelming the love and support we've received! Thank you so much for all the love and prayers!!! Keep us in your prayers!"

June 19th report:
Southern Gospel Reporter is reporting that Lamp Music President, Mike Pillow, was involved in a motorcycle accident Wednesday. His wife Rhonda told reporters that Mike is presently in ICU at an area hospital. Rhonda also says Mike has broken ribs, numerous contusions and is on a breathing machine. The family's main concern is a blood clot on his spleen and the possibility of other internal injuries. Rhonda asks that everyone please pray for Mike and all the Pillow family.

I just returned home after being away for a few days and heard of this tragic accident. My prayers are with Mike, Rhonda and their children. Mike and Rhonda are good christian people. My family and I consider it a privilage to call them friends. God is still working miracles every day and I know He cares for Mike far more than we can imagine.My prayer is that this will become an opportunity in Mikes life to testify of the love and power of the God we serve.

Just wanted to report that Mike is currently undergoing emergency surgery. Please keep us in your prayers!

Hi Everyone,

I just spoke with Rhonda's sister, Sheri. Mike came through surgery. The doctor said he was bleeding in the spleen and he believes he has repaired it. The next 48 hours are critical ("touch and go" were his words). He is still concerned about his kidneys.

Rhonda is trying to rest at this time as she hasn't slept since the accident.

All of the prayers are so appreciated and she keeps saying how much she loves everyone and to keep on praying.

Rest assured my prayers are with you and we had Special Prayer today at my Church for Mike in both the AM & PM service. Both of you are very Special to me and have been for many years. You also, have other friends around the country praying for the two of you. God is in control of every situation and HE is the Master Physician
and we all need to Keep Looking UP and Keep the Faith...Miracles till happen!!. If you need anything, let me know as that is part of my Christian duty to give help when there is a need.

I just found out about the accident. We (Allegiance) wanted to let the Pillow family know that they are in our prayers. If there's ANYTHING we can do, please let us know. We love you guys!

Rhonda, I believe in miracles. As I told you Sunday at the hospital, God will see you through this. He has a greater plan. We can't see it now. All we can see is the trauma and the pain, but turn your eyes to God (as I'm sure you already have) and don't let Satan deceive you. Praise God through your storms

I know that God can heal Mike totally, completely and immediately. All of God's miracles took place immediately upon His spoken word. I know that God can give you the strength to endure. May God continue to richly bless you and your families.

There is an old song written I think by Ben Spears that says, Keep me safe till the storm passes by." God will and this storm, too, will pass.
