Debra Evans In Cycling Accident

Debra Evans, Chief Financial Officer of New Desire Christian Ministries, Inc. in Aragon, GA was seriously injured in a bicyle accident Tuesday, October 1. She was cycling through the Paulding County, GA portion of the popular "Silver Comet" bike trail with a group that included her sister Dr. Brenda J. Robinson, lead singer and Executive Director of New Desire.

Mrs. Evans was rushed to Paulding Memorial Hospital in Dallas, GA where the orthopaedic staff assessed her multiple injuries. They found severe damage to her left rotator cuff and multiple breaks in her shoulder and collarbone region. She underwent extensive surgery on Wednesday afternoon, and while the team of Doctors assured the family that the surgery was successful, they also related that the damage was found to be much greater than their preliminary examinations had shown. They also me n tioned that physical therapy would be needed to further assure her complete recovery.

Debra is not only CFO for New Desire, she serves as sound technician for the group. Please remember her in your prayers during her time of recovery.
