Chad Ingle, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away this past Sunday of a food contaminated illness. Chad, a fan of southern gospel music and an artist himself became sick Thursday after eating at a local restaurant near where he lives in Locust Grove, OK. By Sunday, Chad had passed away from what doctors believe to be an E-Coli outbreak. Fourteen others have been hospitalized who also ate at the same restaurant sometime during the week. The restaurant has not been linked to the cause of the illnesses and according to the Oklahoman newspaper the restaurant had a full health department inspection and no violations turned up on Saturday.

Chad was 26 years old and was recently married. Jim Mahalick a friend of Chad's said, "I recently produced Chad's new recording project called, Under Grace. Chad had a great love for Southern Gospel Music and was a wonderful talent himself. He will be greatly missed by many!"

Chad sang at numerous Southern Gospel events opening for groups like, The Hoskins Family, Chris Hester, Crabb Family, The Hoppers and more.

A funeral is scheduled for Chad Ingle later this week in Pryor, OK.

What a tragedy...My prayers are with Chad's wife and his family. It's impossible to understand why these things occur...but it is a wonderful thing to know that by grace..we will all understand it better by and by..

Chad was a blessing for anyone to be around. His smile and voice lifted our hearts. Til we meet again sweet soul--and thank you for all the feathers you let fall from your wings. Aunt Sandi and Uncle Steve

Chad was such a blessing to our family. Most than just another friend. He had a heart for those in need and loved SG music more than anyone I have ever met. My prayers are with Chad's wife Cindy, Mother, and Father.
Blessings,
Jim
