Kim Hopper - I Just Wanted You To Know
![]() Producer: Lari Goss Label: Canaan/Word/WB Website: http://www.canaanrecords.com Often, when a respected vocalist in a group decides to branch out and record a solo album, they are sometimes met with fear and trepidation from the fans. Questions begin to swim in their mind - is this person leaving the group? Could this be a new time of solo ministry for the individual? Most of the time, those questions and fears are unwarranted due to solo albums usually being an extension of that vocalist's artistry. When in a group setting, a vocalist is often times limited in what they can sing due to sharing the stage and recording with others who may not share that same vision. Song List: 1. The Devil Lost His Keys 2. When God Sings 3. The Woman In My Little Girl's Room 4. The Promised Land 5. That Sounds Like Heaven to Me 6. Come Out Praising 7. What Will I Wear 8. Gospel to the World 9. Well Done Well Done 10. I Just Wanted You to Know Reader Comments

This is my favorite cd! I bought it from the christian book store thinking it was her first one, which I'd been looking forever for, and I have listened to it every day since. Kim Hopper is my favorite musician in the world of christian music. And if I had to choose one person to listen to for the rest of my life it would be Kim. She is a role model to many and I thank God for her music.

My absolute favorite song on this cd is "The devil lost his keys" and in seccond place is "The woman in my little girls room". I am singing "The devil losthis keys" at church soon then at camp in june or july. I am honered to be able to sing one of her songs. I will also be recording my own cd soon which will highlight this song as well as one that I wrote. I will be sure to notify in my cd that this is in fact Kim Hoppers work and not mine.
