Amazed Nominated for 2 Diamond Awards
SHERMAN, Texas – The reigning SGN Music Award Female Group of the Year Amazed recently received news that they have been nominated for two Diamond Awards.
Amazed received nominations in the categories of Song of the Year (for the hit single “Even On Monday”) and Duet of the Year. This is Amazed’s fourth consecutive nomination for Duet of the Year. The group previously won the award in 2007 and 2005.
“Words can not express how excited we are to again be nominated for Duet of the Year,” mentioned Cathie Marsh of Amazed. “We respect our fellow nominees so much!”
“We just have to give a huge shout out to all of our fans,” mentioned Tamie Perkins of Amazed. “They are the ones responsible for getting us these nominations, and we appreciate it so much! Thank you once again!”
Amazed has received a total of six Diamond Awards nominations in their career.

This past April, the popular duo added another award to their ever-increasing resumé. The up and coming duo was awarded their first Female Group of the Year award at the SGN Music Awards.
Amazed’s second single from their latest release Just Gettin’ Started is “I Still Believe.” It is the follow up to their first ever Singing News Top 80 hit “Even On Monday” which spent three months on the chart. Be listening for “I Still Believe” at Southern Gospel radio all across the country.
