It's amazing how God provides for His children. How many of us have asked God to provide us with this and make a way for this if it's His will? All of us think we have an idea of what we need, but only the Lord knows exactly what we need when we need it. It's so easy to become impatient with where you are now; wondering why He hasn't already given you what you thought you needed. It's all part of His way of teaching us to trust Him. When you come to the place where you can't do anything about the situation but trust that the Lord is taking care of it, then that's exactly where the He wants you to be; totally trusting Him. If we could see the next step at all times then there would be no reason to trust God. If you're like me, independent and always wanting to know what's going to happen next, then sometimes it's really hard for you to just let go and let God do His thing. In the end I'm always glad that I didn't try to make something happen or take control of the situation. God knows what He's doing. Although it's hard for us to not get in the middle of things, it's always best when we step back and just let God work everything out. Romans 8:28 says (I think we're all familiar with this verse.) "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." This covers everything. Not just the good things that happen, but what we think
are bad things or things we've never had to face. God may be taking what you thought was an awful thing, to work out what you've been praying for.
"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. . .for when I am weak, then I am strong." 2nd Corinthians 12:9-10

What an encouraging article. Everytime I needed to be uplifted the McRaes could always pick my spirits up. May God bless the McRae Trio selection. No matter where God leads us we can rest in knowing that HE is right there with us.
