Jean Underwood (Mark and Bill Underwood’s Mother) returned Home from the Hospital yesterday. She is reportedly doing much better. Jean suffered bleeding within her stomach on February 1, 2003. She had been getting her esophagus banded once a week because of varicose blood vessels that showed up inside. According to the doctors, one of the bands ruptured. The doctors went in to repair that along with six other bands. The Underwood family would like to thank all of those who prayed for Jean.
Jean and Joe Underwood helped with finances and transportation during the early years of the group. They still travel to local performances as much as they can.
