This month’s Lamp spotlight feature is on the energetic family trio from Fayetteville, AR – Gospel Heritage Recording artists – The Bilderbacks.
Formed in 1978, The Bilderbacks were the musical part of the evangelistic team headed by their father, Calvin Bilderback who pastured the Oak Grove Full Gospel Church in Springdale, AR for 23 years.
The group as it exists today consists of husband and wife Euel and Marsha Bilderback and sister Kim. In 1997 the group felt the leading of God to take their unique brand of music ministry to a broader audience.
Since this time the group has had many successes including several Singing News Top 80 songs including their latest single “Heart of Flesh” from their Gospel Heritage Recording, “Unbelievable!” This inspiring new single makes it’s debut in August’s Singing News Charts in the Mid 60’s, and features group member Marsha.
The Bilderbacks are also blessed with much original material including their previous popular single, “Unbelievable,” written by group leader, Euel Bilderback.
In 2001 the ministry of the Bilderbacks turned another corner, when Euel accepted the pastorate vacated by his ailing father, Calvin. Euel shares, “Working with my Dad during his 23 year ministry, I have seen God move so powerfully in different situations. When I accepted the pastorate at the Mercy and Grace Cathedral, I really didn’t know if God was closing the door for the traveling ministry of the Bilderbacks.” He continues, “God couldn’t have given us a better family at the church. We have a wonderful pastoral staff that allows us to continue to travel and share our mininstry.”
Over the years the demand for this awesome trio has continued to increase. Last year the group logged in over 100 events, and is slated to see a 15% increase according to this years schedule. In addition to church events they are also seeing a solid increase of concert events, in fact they just got back from headlining the Blue Springs Valley Sing that’s annually held in Cleveland, TN.
In the coming months The Bilderbacks will be featured at many of major promotional events that Lamp Music Group during the 2005 convention season.
This summer Lamp Music Group has lined-up some of the most cutting edge events including some industry firsts - - Allowing fans and industry members to see the groups up close and personal – Listed below is a brief summary of some of these major events you don’t want to miss.
-In conjunction with the SGM Fan Fair in Chattanooga, TN – Lamp Is sponsoring a Celebration River Boat Cruise on the Tennesse River. Fans will hear their favorite Lamp artists and friends while enjoying a world class 5 star breakfast aboard a fully functional steam boat!
-Fans will also be treated to one of the best line-ups of Gospel talent at the Lamp Celebration Showcase on Friday of the SGM Fan Fair in Chattanooga, TN hosted by every body’s favorite MC - Tony Peace
-Then at NQC Lamp will again host the Diamond Awards Presentation – At the Executive West Hotel. Warm up program begins at 11am.

This group has awesome, annointed family harmony. And, Euel has an outstanding God given talent for writing songs. It doesn't get any better than that.
I am so excited to know a family that has been Abundantly Blessed by the God given Talents that the Builderbacks have. I am so proud of this family for all the hard work and dedication they have put into what God has destined for their lives. Marsha, Kim, and Euel all have such great talent. Thier abilities to blend and harmonize are incredible. The Bilderbacks are one of today's rising stars in gospel music. And the beautiful thing about the group is they are genuine.
