Prayer Request for Cathy Brooks Thomas

SGN received the following email from Cathy Thomas requesting prayer:

I would like to ask that you please publish this urgent need for prayer on your website. My name is Cathy Brooks Thomas I have worked in the gospel music industry for many years with, The Gospel Voice, Centergy Music, and the Eddie Crook Co. just to name a few. I would like to have all of my friends and colleagues in Gospel Music to be praying for my family.

My husband Chris Thomas is suffering from Gulf War Syndrome. My family is in need of prayer. Gulf War Syndrome is real and many of our soldiers are suffering from this debilitating disease. Gulf war syndrome leads to Lou Gerhig's disease which is a disease that attacks the central nervous system and shuts down motor skills. I am asking that you uplift my family in your prayers as we have a 2 year old and a 3 month old. I am unable to work at this time as I am taking care of Chris and our 2 children. Chris is very sick at this time and continuing to decline in health every day. At this time they do not have a cure. Not many people are aware of Gulf war syndrome. If you or anyone you know are possibly have problems with this please contact us. We are trying to help other veterans as well to get the help needed.

Blessings,

Cathy Brooks Thomas
