Paid In Full - Lovin’ Out Loud

Producer:  Woody Wright
Label:  Song Garden Music Group
Website:  www.paidinfull.net

Consisting of Lance Moore, Jeff Crews and Bradley Littlejohn, Paid in Full is a group I have really been enjoying for the last 4 to 5 years.  They have such a classy and exciting sound and I still scratch my head wondering why everybody else hasn't taken to these guys as well as I think they should.  Even though this recording has a strong country feel to it, the group still maintains its uniquely classy sound.  I never could put classy and country in the same description before now, but Paid in Full manages to pull it off.  This is by far, their greatest recording to date.

The guitar infested tune, "I'LL MEET YOU ON THE MOUNTAIN" of Gaither Homecoming fame, starts the recording off before continuing the definitive country feel on the next song, "LIVING WATER".  Things then slow down as Bradley Littlejohn sings the Woody Wright penned tune about grace entitled, "MORE THAN AMAZING".

The progressive title song, "LOVIN' OUT LOUD" features Jeff Crews, while the Kirk Talley/Mike Speck penned tune, "HOLY SPIRIT, FALL ON THIS PLACE" features a powerful performance by Lance Moore.

I wrote an article a couple months ago about the Orrells, and it's great to see Paid in Full bring back one of Gordon Jensen's tunes, "THE COMING OF THE LORD", which features Bradley before the group moves on to a slower pace for a song simply titled, "SIMPLE FAITH".

Lance has always been one of the smoothest lead singers in Southern Gospel Music, but he seems to have really stepped out vocally on this recording and he turns in what is quite possibly his best performance with a dynamite of a song entitled, "WHAT THE STORM DOES NOT KNOW".  I really hope to see this song hit radio in 2006.

The tender "ONE DAY" slows things down to a reflective tone before the recording closes out with the uptempo, "GREAT DAY IN THE MORNING", which features Jeff.  The musical turnaround begs for an encore, but unfortunately none is given.

Paid in Full has always put out music that is definitely above par for most groups.  But as I stated at the beginning, this recording seems to really step things up a notch and is the best recording they have released and they show that they are at the very top of their game.  They're original and exciting musically and vocally, and they have so much to offer with this recording.

Personal Favs: I'LL MEET YOU ON THE MOUNTAIN; LIVING WATER; HOLY SPIRIT, FALL ON THIS PLACE; THE COMING OF THE LORD; WHAT THE STORM DOES NOT KNOW; GREAT DAY IN THE MORNING

I came across the website for these guys last year and was very impressed by their sound clips and their accomplishments. I then saw them in concert, and they really stack up to the product they put out. They are all great singers, and they have a great program to offer to audiences. I don't know why they are not better known than what they are, because I think they have to potential to meet or surpass Great Vision!

Though, I know them all being friends through school and childhood adds to their "story" or "biography", I would really like to see these guys add on a bass singer. I really think that would take them to the next level - the top! Anyway, great project and great group - if you have not done so, go out and see them when they are near you - it will be worth it!
