Northmen Qt Signs With Homeland

(Nashville, TN) Homeland Entertainment Group announces the addition of The Northmen of Ft. Wayne Indiana to their roster of artists. The new recording “Timeless” which will be on the Heartwarming label (a division of Homeland) will be available on August 1st. The project will be a mixture of classic gospel music favorites with several new selections as well by such songwriters as Scott Noel, Kevin Stokes, Greg Lindsey and Brian Burchfield. Homeland Entertainment Group will be releasing a yet to be named radio single later this summer.

Group owner and lead singer Alan Godsey states “ We are excited to begin production on this new recording. We respect the legacy and mission that Homeland Entertainment has built over the last 2 decades and we await the fans reaction to what we feel will be the finest project yet”.

Homeland Director of A/R Eric Melton stated “ I am excited to work with The Northmen again. I first met Alan Godsey over 11 years ago and promoted a single for them with the company that I worked for at that time. I have always loved Alan’s heart for God combined with his enthusiasm and I am delighted that I have the opportunity to continue to work with such a deserving artist.”

The Northmen just recently celebrated 20 years in Gospel Music and this year does not find them slowing down any. Since their inception The Northmen have performed a plethora of events such as The Indiana State Fair, 4 foreign countries, Major National Sporting Events, Cruises, The National Quartet Convention and numerous churches in 35 states. They also host several annual events including The Northern Gospel Singing Convention, Homecoming and NorthernFest and their own Spring Sing. The current lineup of the Northmen includes founding member, group owner and lead singer Alan Godsey from Cincinnati OH , baritone Brian Hicks, from Jamestown, TN; and tenor Brad Scott from Jamestown, TN. The Northmen’s current single “No Prayer Too Small” written by Terry Helms is their 10th single in a row on the Singing News Chart.
