New Life Quartet Changes Name

Zion Muisc Group would like to announce that The Newlife Quartet of Purvis Mississippi, has changed their name to Strong River, effective immediately.

After much prayer, the group believes that changing their name to Strong River will help end some of the confusion created by many local and national groups carrying the name New Life.

Ephesians 6:10 tells us, "Be STRONG in the Lord, and in the power of His might."

Rest assured, the only thing changing is our name. We will continue to strive to be the best we can be singing praises to Jesus Christ our Lord, bringing honor and glory to Him. We will continue to encourage those who have drifted, enlighten the lost, and follow wherever He leads. As we lift up the name of Jesus through our ministry, and convey the excitement and joy He brings, we pray that all attention will be focused on Him. Praise be to God for He alone is worthy! We believe He is the RIVER of life.

Great group. Some of the best friends I have in the Gospel Music Business. Very talented, but more importantly, they live what they sing about. I strongly encourage anyone that has the opportunity to go and hear this group. You won't regret it. By the way, Ed takes golfing lessons from me. Ha Ha, love ya Ed.
