Kings Heralds -Jun 06

As you well know the National Quartet Convention is almost here. We hope that everyone is making plans to attend. If you haven't gotten your tickets don't put it off any longer...it will snealk up on you if you are not careful!

This year will be the first time that The Kings Heralds have attended the NQC since 1967. In addition to having a booth, we will be performing on Monday, September 11 at the Artist spotlight showcase in the South Wing. The singing starts at 1:00 pm so come early and get a good seat.

Many have been asking how the new recording is coming. We are happy to report that the material has been selected and the tracks have been cut. I bet we listened to over 100 GREAT songs, so narrowing them down to just 12 was a real challenge. Some of the great songwriters who contributed to this recording are Marty Funderburk, Jerry Kelso, Niles Borop, Rebecca Peck, Barbara Huffman, Gary Casto as well as our producer extrodinaire, Wayne Haun.We are very anxious to see what Wayne does with the orchestration. Wayne will be going to Prague to do the orchestration..we are very excited!!

I guess the number one question we have been asked is when is the move happening. Right now, it looks as if the trucks will roll the last day or two of July. The process of packing and sorting what goes and what stays has begun. Please keep us in your prayers while there is much to sort through business wise as well.

Please be sure to drop by our booth at NQC and say hi. We'd love to meet each on of you.

Until next month...we'll catch you down the road somewhere.
