HisSong to Host 5th Anniversary Concert

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – HisSong is proud to announce the details of their upcoming 5th Anniversary Concert. Popular trio, HisSong, will be hosting this year’s anniversary concert on Saturday, June 9, 2007.

The 5th Anniversary Concert will feature performances by 2007 SGN Music Award nominee HisSong, as well as Mike & Kelly Bowling (formerly the Mike Bowling Group) and the Stanleys.

Dennis Humphries with HisSong says, "We look forward to our anniversary concert every year, because we love to just have a good time in the Lord with our friends and families. Mike & Kelly Bowling and the Stanleys are our wonderful friends, and we are happy to be hosting them this year!”

The concert will take place at River of Life Assembly of God in Smyrna, Tennessee. The concert will begin at 6:00 p.m. CST. The Diamond Award winning trio was recently in the studio recording tracks for the group’s upcoming album. Tracks were recorded at the Sound Kitchen in Franklin, Tennessee. HisSong’s new recording, the follow-up to Watching & Waiting, is being produced by Dove Award-winning producer Wayne Haun.

The release date for the as-of-yet untitled recording has not yet been set.

HisSong’s current single, “First Things First” is seeing strong success at Southern Gospel radio. The song is currently ranked at #64 on the upcoming February 2007 Singing News Top 80, #61 on the January 2007 Gospel Music News Top 100, and #28 on the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart.
