Grassroots Campaign To Keep Country Dan On The Air

Fans throughout the United States have started a grassroots campaign to keep favorite radio DJ, Dan Dixon (also known as Country Dan), on the air after the newly formed Sirius XM Radio decided to cut his radio shows. More than 1,000 fans have signed a petition and more signatures are pouring in daily in efforts of keeping him on the air.

Dan who hosts the popular programs, Stained Glass, on enlighten 34 and America on XM 10, has gospel and country fans alike uniting with their support.

Dan, worked side by side with Marlin Taylor from enlighten 34 during the last two National Quartet Conventions in Louisville, Ky. and has many gospel music fans. He has been a big supporter of gospel music playing gospel not only on his Stained Glass program, but also plays a lot of gospel on his country program.

I have already canceled two out of five radios because I can't listen to Country Dan anymore. I am canceling another one soon.
I was also recently thinking of buying a Sirius radio so I could have both in my truck. Best of both worlds. Guess that is out now as well.

I listen Xm 10 in the morning with Ray Knight And evening especially with Country Dan. The new Xm 10 format sucks. They only seem to have a very limited number of artists and play them over and over and over. Let get with program guys.

I was not happy when you took Dan Dixson
off the air. Stained Glass and his show
on XM10 is what I listened to the most
and I would like to have him back on the
    air.

More than any other station on XM I listen to XM10 and in particular Country Dan Dixon. With the new merger of XM and Sirius and the dropping of this great station and of Country Dan I see no need to renew my subscription to XM. What a great loss to the traditional country music lovers and trucker across America!
