Firm Foundation - Footsteps of Life

Producer: Donna Beauvais
Website: http://www.firmfoundationqt.com

This young Quartet has been around for a few years and this is without a doubt the best recording they have made to date. Consisting of Josh Teasley, Anthony Davis,
Josh Brown, and Steve Bridgmon, these guys have formed a unity in sound that many groups that have been singing for decades have never reached. Add to that the fairly new producer, Donna Beauvias, who brings some really nice fresh ideas and youi have a really fantastic CD on your hands. Donna has stretched this quartet, giving them some edge, without moving them from being squarely in the Southern Gospel arena.

Opening the project with a real Country feel, "Already On My Knees" has a unique message and tempo that has you singing along. This CD is loaded with upbeatr songs, which in my humble opinion made for a great listening CD. One of those upbeat songs features as a guest the producer of this CD, Donna Beauvais. Donna is a great vocalist herself and she sings a duet on Nothing Better To Do", with the whole quartet joining on the3w chorus'. I understand that this song will be their first radio release from this CD.

There are a couple of nice power ballads including "All He Wants". What a great message, "All He Wants" (is everything) The CD is well rounded in it's material from such writers as Marty Funderburk, Dianne Wilkinson, Tony Wood, Twila LaBar, and Sue Smith. It ends as it begins, with a really nice country sound on "This Is The Walk".

I think you will like this CD, I know I did.

1. Already On My Knees
2. God's Gonna Do You Good

4. Nothing Better To Do
5. Nothing But The Cross

This is a wonderful CD! I love it and am so thankful that God has blessed these four young men with such wonderful talent that they use to glorify Him. One of my personal favorites is "All He Wants." It's a wonderful song featuring Josh Brown that just touches my heart every time I hear it. This truly is a great CD, and it's been such a blessing!
